Job Details and Responsibilities
- The Product Manager – LCP AI is responsible for shaping, launching, and scaling AI capabilities within the Cloud Platform. This role defines the roadmap and execution for Clean Core AI, AI-enabled transformation tooling, and embedded intelligence services across the LCP ecosystem.
- You will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, SAP solution teams, and customer success to deliver AI-driven features that enhance automation, insight, and decision-making across SAP landscapes.
- This role blends strategic product ownership, AI solution understanding, and agile delivery leadership. The successful candidate will translate business vision and customer needs into clear, achievable product outcomes, ensuring continues to lead in the AI-for-SAP space.
Key Measures
- Product roadmap and release commitments met to plan and communicated transparently
- LCP AI features deliver measurable impact on customer outcomes and adoption
- AI initiatives aligned to the overall Cloud Platform strategy and Clean Core principles
- Stakeholder satisfaction across Product Strategy, Engineering, Delivery, and Sales
- Clear, current backlog and roadmap maintained in JIRA
- Product value and customer impact clearly reported via metrics and dashboards
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and evolve the LCP AI product vision, roadmap, and positioning within broader platform strategy
- Identify opportunities for AI augmentation in SAP migration, operations, automation, and analytics
- Maintain awareness of SAP AI Foundation, Joule, Datasphere, AI Core, and related BTP capabilities
- Develop market intelligence on competitors, hyperscaler AI tools, and enterprise AI trends
- Develop Sales & Marketing Collateral to incisively describe the capabilities and benefits of our solution
Requirements & Backlog Management
- Engage with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers to capture, refine, and prioritize AI use cases
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear epics, features, and user stories aligned with business value
- Maintain a transparent and prioritized backlog in JIRA
- Ensure documentation and acceptance criteria meet delivery and testing needs
Agile Delivery Leadership
- Partner with the LCP Platform Engineering Lead and AI Tech Lead to manage delivery through sprints
- Run backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions
- Monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Ensure product data and dashboards reflect real-time progress and value delivered
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the single point of accountability for the LCP AI product domain
- Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes to leadership and customers
- Represent LCP AI in executive briefings, workshops, and customer engagements
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to support go-to-market content and messaging
Metrics & Outcomes
- Define and track KPIs for adoption, automation impact, AI model usage, and user satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement based on feedback, telemetry, and post-launch learning
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years in product management or solution ownership in enterprise software
- Deep familiarity with SAP ecosystem (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with AI or data-driven products, ideally integrated with SAP or enterprise platforms
- Strong ability to bridge business and technical domains — from strategy through delivery
- Proven ability to work across seniority levels, from executives to engineers
- Experience with Agile delivery and Azure DevOps or JIRA tooling
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP AI Foundation, Joule, ABAP Cloud, RAP, or Datasphere
- Familiarity with LLM integration, ML ops, or hyperscaler AI services
- Prior experience in a cloud-native SaaS environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170, $200,000.00 per year
