Medical Billing SpecialistOverview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Services & Billing Coordinator to join our healthcare operations team. This role ensures accurate client data processing, insurance verification, billing compliance, and timely claim submission in accordance with HIPAA and PHI regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all client data processing complies with HIPAA and PHI regulatory standards.
  • Report compliance issues directly to the Director of Operations.
  • Coordinate insurance verification and communicate co-pay responsibilities to clients.
  • Facilitate co-pay collection and process payment information securely.
  • Enter client data into the system promptly and follow up with referral sources to complete missing information.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of client records and service setup.
  • Confirm sales orders and ensure all required documentation (e.g., signed prescriptions, proof of delivery) is on file before claim submission.
  • Follow up on missing sales orders and resolve billing discrepancies until payment is received.
  • Submit electronic and paper claims to payers in a timely manner.
  • Correct and resubmit rejected claims from both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Post cash payments accurately to client accounts.
  • Generate invoices and follow up with clients or payers to ensure payment collection.
  • Stay current with regulatory guidelines and reimbursement policies to support accurate billing.
  • Provide customer service support, including resolving and logging client inquiries.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $25.00/hr.
