Ecommerce Storefront Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a
Storefront Manager

to own and optimize the GlobalComix store experience. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, product, and content, with the mission of maximizing commercial impact across our storefront, subscription funnel, and owned channels.

The Storefront Manager will be responsible for selling
both GlobalComix Gold subscriptions and purchasable collectible titles

, managing all commercial messaging across the service from hero cards and banners to landing pages and storefront ordering. This person will define how readers discover, engage with, and purchase the best stories in the world.

tip of the nose-cone on a rocket ship

, everything you do directly impacts how fast and how high GlobalComix can grow. With the biggest names in comics joining the platform, the storefront is where our future success takes flight. We're looking to find someone with strong domain
experience or personal passion

in comics.

Responsibilities

  • Store Ownership:

Manage the GlobalComix storefront and all commercial placements (hero cards, banners, landing pages, storefront ordering), ensuring they maximize subscriptions and à la carte sales.
- Partner Collaboration:

Work directly with publishers and external partners to negotiate storefront promotions, offers, and special events.
- Print-on-Demand & Commerce:

Lead the print-on-demand program and explore future "real world" revenue streams (e.g., merchandise, collectibles).
- Conversion Optimization:

Build and optimize landing pages to improve subscription and à la carte conversion rates.
- Web-to-App & App-to-Web Funnel:

Drive the creation and optimization of funnels, ensuring a smooth path from discovery through onboarding and purchase.
- Content Communication:

Own commercial messaging around day-and-date releases and major hits across all owned channels (email, push notifications, in-app).
- Marketing Integration:

Partner with the marketing team to ensure that marquee content is featured in advertising campaigns with maximum impact.
- Product Collaboration:

Work closely with the product team to implement systematic improvements to the storefront experience.
- Performance Reporting:

Track and report on storefront KPIs including conversion rates, sales performance, and subscriber acquisition.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in digital commerce, app growth, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Deep knowledge and passion of comic books as a medium.
  • Proven track record of managing storefronts, offers, or promotions for consumer platforms.
  • Strong understanding of funnel analytics and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
  • Experience with commercial messaging, merchandising, or digital storefront ordering.
  • Negotiation experience with external partners or vendors.
  • Familiarity with CRM and owned-channel communication (email, push, app).
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across marketing, content, and product teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in publishing, entertainment, or comics/gaming industries.
