Founding Creative & AI Content Photographer (Plus Equity)

Location: Remote

Compensation: Monthly Salary + Equity

Authentic Ego is a next-generation skincare company redefining how we support adult and hormonal acne-prone skin. Founded by two women with deep experience in brand, marketing, and formulation science, we are science-first and mission-led—combining real acne research, R&D-led formulations, and a cultural shift in how skincare is marketed, consumed, and trusted.

Since launching in late 2023, we've experienced exponential growth, gained early traction from the creator and clinical communities, and are now preparing for Series A fundraising.

We're building a category-defining brand and we're seeking a Founding Creative & AI Content Photographer to bring our campaigns and creative concepts to life across all visual channels.

This is a hands-on, execution-driven opportunity for a self-starting creative with deep experience in content creation, design, and digital production. You'll be responsible for developing and producing visuals and assets across various campaigns, social media, and performance channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly creative deliverables for brand campaigns (social, paid, and community content)
  • Design and produce static and short form animated graphics & GIFs (Adobe Suite/ Canva Proficiency/ or similar required)
  • Shoot, edit, and develop short-form video assets for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid ads
  • Build imagery using Midjourney/AI tools and lead monthly shoots
  • Support creative development for paid ads (Meta, Google Shopping, and social)
  • Translate campaign concepts into compelling visual content

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years experience in photography for content campaigns or digital production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
  • Strong eye for aesthetics and beauty-forward visual storytelling
  • Extensive experience with AI tools (e.g., Midjourney) and for AI photoshoot execution
  • Deep familiarity with skincare/beauty content formats and performance-focused creative
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work with DTC or consumer brands
  • Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive with a desire to help build a brand that you'll have ownership in.

Position Details:

  • Monthly salary + equity ownership of the company
  • Fully remote - work from anywhere
  • Work around your existing schedule- since this is currently a part-time position we fully recognize the need for flexibility based on your other commitments
