About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager
to join our dynamic team in the electronic manufacturing sector. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry regulations (GAAP), and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing, and proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, 401(k), benefits (medical, dental, vision, life), and general ledger.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage cost accounting processes, including BOM analysis, inventory valuation, and variance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize financial performance.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic planning.
  • Annually selecting medical and dental plans that balance employee benefits and company costs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR practices and participate in personnel actions, including hiring, performance management, and terminations.

·       Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and present findings to executive leadership for decision-making and planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and GAAP.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Epicor Kinetic experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in electronic or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards and multi-currency transactions.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their financial impact.

Work environment

  • In-person, remote on Fridays
  • Use of computer and voice communication for 5+ hours per day.
  • Typical noise and ventilation levels for an office environment.
  • 10-finger touch typing

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to speak and understand English.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
