POSITION LOCATION: SAVANNAH, GA OR DARLINGTON, SC, OR ROLAND, OK

The IS Application Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for various business-critical applications used across the organization. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless application performance, resolve system issues, and support new application implementations. The IS Application Support Analyst will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repairs networks, hardware,

software/applications, and user accounts


• Train/instruct users in proper use and security of all systems


• Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems/issues related to computer hardware, software, and networks


• Consult with others to assess, analyze, and resolve technical problems/issues


• Analyze business information and processes to identify efficiency opportunities, implement solutions that address efficient and accurate use of resources


• Work with and/or lead project teams of system users and vendors to understand and ensure the

accuracy of the data and optimal application operation.


• Execute work by determining priorities, analyzing alternatives and selecting applicable methods and procedures for completion


• Coordinate and track efforts with vendors during system outages, malfunctions, updates and upgrades, assisting as required


• Keep abreast of developments, releases, roadmaps and issues of business applications, and share the information with interested parties


• Understanding of performance metrics and monitoring system/application performance


• Creates, maintains, and analyzes documentation, reports, and logs as directed


• Performs task in a detailed and efficient manner based on the given direction


• Ensures all assigned tasks are completed as directed and on time


• Ability to cover night and weekend shifts as needed


• Participates in business continuity / disaster recovery planning and actual execution of business continuity / disaster recovery events


• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:


• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities


• Superior written and oral communication skills


• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies quickly and thoroughly


• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment


• Familiarity with software development process


• Experience with SQL and Relational Database technology


• Ability to document and record statistics and execute tests with extreme attention to detail


• Ability to work through roadblocks and bring about resolution


• Working knowledge of MS Office and Windows


• Ability and willingness to travel to distribution centers on a periodic basis


• Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, department reports and office procedures. Ability to speak effectively with vendors and employees of the company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field


• Minimum of 3 years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee must frequently use their hands to handle or feel objects and must be able to speak and hear clearly.


• The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities

required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.


• The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
