Position Summary:

As a Solar Sales Consultant with PureTex Solar, you will drive the adoption of solar energy across Texas communities. Whether you are an experienced closer or an ambitious self-starter, this position gives you the tools, training, and support to excel. Your day-to-day will range from generating leads in the field to guiding homeowners through the design and financing of their new solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Engage in door-to-door outreach to educate homeowners about the benefits of going solar.
  • Develop new opportunities through referrals, canvassing, and local networking.
  • Sales & Closing:
  • Conduct in-home and virtual consultations to assess customer needs.
  • Prepare customized proposals and guide customers through financing, design, and installation options.
  • Close contracts with professionalism and transparency.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Represent PureTex Solar as a trusted energy partner.
  • Ensure a high-quality experience from the first contact to system activation.
  • Training & Development:
  • Participate in continuous training to enhance your product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Stay current on solar industry trends, local incentives, and financing programs.

What We Look For:

  • Prior experience in direct sales is a plus (Solar, Roofing, Pest Control, Telecom, Security, Home Improvement), but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong communication skills and a drive to succeed are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to perform in a commission-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive mindset.
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and general technology proficiency is helpful.
