Y-12 Radio Program Manager is the primary contact for the program and is the main interface with Oak Ridge Operations Center (OROC), Y-12 Operations Center, federal customers, Uranium Processing Facility Project Office (UPO)/YFO, Wide Are Radio System (WARS) Prime Contractor to YFO (NNSA Production Office), senior managers, directors, project managers, construction, support organizations, contractors, and subcontractors as necessary, to support safe, efficient, and compliant execution of construction, maintenance, Pro Force, or operations activities within the Y-12 site.
Coordinates throughout the radio equipment life cycle including ordering of radio equipment and parts, setting personalities/code plugs, approving programming, requesting inclusion in WARS system from YFO, issuance, establishing and monitoring preventative maintenance requirements, approving and handling repairs and programming of site components and radios.
Responsible for maintaining the software and firmware to support the radio maintenance program in Software Manager (SMan), including RSR (Radio Service Notification) website. Works with Enterprise and Y-12 Property to ensure status on radio issuance and updates in SAP, PATS (Property Accountability Tracking System) and RSR are accurate. Assists in resolution of Y-12 Annual Property inventory issues. Responsible for keeping current system dongles. Primary contact to request Y-12 radios to be on Tennessee Advanced Communication Network (TACN).

- Working knowledge of radio equipment functions and interface capabilities.

- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- OR Master's degree: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fifteen or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
