Nuclear Services Program Manager

The position is to support the Spectra Tech Nuclear Services Division and Special Projects Division in managing and growing the portfolio of nuclear projects throughout the U.S. The successful candidate will be able to perform technical project engineering work as required to support a variety of customers in the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Complex as well as commercial nuclear reactor and fuel cycle customers. In addition, we are looking for a candidate to support program management/business development/sales functions for company growth. The position will entail managing projects and interfacing with customers and employees associated with specific projects. The candidate will facilitate communications between the customer and company as needed to ensure project completion per contract requirements. The position will entail prospecting, cold calling, going on client meetings, and occasional travel to industry functions. Candidates should have the ability to build relationships with clients and work to find solutions that work best for the customer. The successful candidate will support the sales and program management for Spectra Tech. In addition, the successful candidate will interface with other Spectra Tech divisions as a collective team to facilitate overall company growth.
The position will require a mix of billable project work tasks and business development work tasks. The target hourly billability mix is 50% billable hours and 50% business development hours.
The position reports to the Spectra Tech Vice President of Nuclear Services.
