As part of its strategic expansion, Tazapay is establishing a new regional headquarters in Los Angeles to accelerate growth across the Americas. The U.S. subsidiary will focus on driving sales, expanding client acquisition, and scaling revenue operations to strengthen Tazapay's presence and business impact in the region.
Job Overview
The Senior Vice President of Sales (SVP, Americas) will serve as a senior member of Tazapay's executive leadership team, responsible for leading all sales strategy and execution across the Americas.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the SVP will oversee regional sales operations, pipeline development, client acquisition programs, and cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and local market opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales executive with deep experience in fintech, payments, and cross-border commerce. They will have a proven ability to scale high-performing sales teams, drive revenue growth, and achieve measurable results in competitive, regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute Tazapay's regional sales strategy, aligning initiatives with global corporate objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on sales growth, client engagement, and market dynamics.
Define KPIs, revenue targets, and frameworks to measure sales performance and pipeline health.
Ensure consistent execution of global policies, sales standards, and governance frameworks across the region.
Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
Lead initiatives to acquire new clients, including SMEs, enterprises, and marketplaces, driving revenue growth in the Americas.
Identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities and enterprise accounts to maximize market penetration.
Collaborate with business development, marketing, and product teams to support go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
Represent Tazapay at industry conferences, fintech events, and client forums to strengthen market presence and relationships.
Sales Operations & Process Optimization
Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, CRM adoption, deal execution, and performance tracking.
Implement scalable processes to optimize productivity, reduce sales cycle times, and enhance client satisfaction.
Partner with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory adherence and operational integrity in all sales activities.
Lead contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity in dynamic markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure sales alignment with regional and global objectives.
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a revenue-driven culture.
Promote a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and cross-departmental cooperation.
Ensure alignment between regional sales operations and corporate headquarters' strategy.
Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline metrics, and revenue performance to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies, account management, and business development initiatives.
Support executive reporting to the CEO and board on regional sales performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Over 20 years of senior leadership experience in sales, business development, or revenue management within fintech, payments, or financial services.
Proven track record of scaling sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth in competitive markets.
Deep understanding of cross-border payments, enterprise client ecosystems, and regulated environments.
Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with experience influencing executive-level decisions.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
