The Campus Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management, safety, and efficiency of a multi-building campus that includes both manufacturing and corporate headquarters operations. This role ensures that all buildings, utilities, and services run smoothly, providing a clean, safe, and productive environment for all employees. The manager leads a facilities and maintenance team to deliver reliable operations, cost-effective improvements, and an exceptional workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Planning

  • Lead and develop the facilities and maintenance team that supports office infrastructure and operations.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, IT, and Safety to align facility priorities with company goals.
  • Promote a positive, service-oriented culture focused on safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and upkeep of all campus buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
  • Manage maintenance programs to ensure reliability of utilities and building systems (e.g., power, heating, cooling, water).
  • Ensure all workspaces, offices, restrooms, and common areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
  • Supervise facility support services such as janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and third-party integrated facilities management (CBRE).

Projects & Improvements

  • Plan and coordinate building upgrades, remodels, and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractors to ensure timely, quality results.
  • Identify and lead cost-saving or efficiency initiatives related to facilities, utilities, and energy use.
  • Support new equipment installations or office reconfigurations as business needs evolve.

Safety, Compliance & Security

  • Ensure the campus meets all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Establish Campus Contractor Management Program
  • Partner with the Safety team to maintain emergency response plans, fire systems, and security protocols.
  • Oversee access control, surveillance systems, and visitor management processes.
  • Maintain accurate facility records, permits, and inspection reports.

Budgeting & Vendor Management

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for facilities, maintenance, and utilities.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and ensure services are delivered to expected standards.
  • Monitor expenses and track key metrics such as uptime, maintenance completion, and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing building operations or facilities services for a manufacturing or corporate environment.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and quality.

Preferred :

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering)
  • Experience: 7 years of experience managing building operations or facilities services for a manufacturing or corporate environment.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
