Reporting to the Director, Real Estate and Workplace Services, the Facilities Manager will work alongside the Director and is responsible for managing a range of multi-disciplined facility projects and programs across Targa's portfolio.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a variety of office projects from small to medium in size including, but not limited to, office/facility reconfigurations, office refurbishments, furniture procurement & installation, office decommissioning activities, move/relocations and misc. capex projects as they arise.
  • Manage the administrative duties associated with the operating and capital budgets (AFE, PO creation, invoice processing etc.).
  • Assist with the implementation of the new Real Estate & Workplace Services platform and the ongoing management of the system & modules. Import existing data into the CMMS system.
  • Manage the preventative maintenance and office safety/emergency programs across Targa's core offices.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing cost savings and operational improvements across the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with third party vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal customers.
  • Partner cross functionality with many internal teams including HR, IT, Land and ROW, Corporate Security, Operations, SCM and Accounting.
  • Handle repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

MINIMAL ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Construction Management degree a plus
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in the areas of construction project management and facilities/workplace services.
  • Solid experience with office buildouts, reconfigurations, moves, decommissioning facilities, safety programs and various facility projects.
  • Proven experience of performing minor repairs, general maintenance, facilities support.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing a CMMS system for the ongoing management of facilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interface with employees at all levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety, security and emergency regulations and requirements
  • Must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others.
