We are an innovative startup at the forefront of energy technology, developing cutting-edge battery and hydrogen injection systems leveraging graphene-based advancements. Our mission is to revolutionize energy storage and efficiency with scalable, high-performance solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and operations of our new materials facility. This expert-level role manages multiple build projects, ensures integration across functional teams, and provides overarching oversight. The ideal candidate will excel at guiding technically minded R&D professionals toward practical, market-ready solutions and navigate the dynamics of high-performance, creative teams.
Project Leadership & Oversight
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned build projects within the facility.
- Define the project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and key milestones to align with the organization's strategy.
- Simultaneously, oversee more than five small projects or two to three large-scale projects.
- Understand and align with the company's PMO framework, ensuring completion of all required documentation for stage gate approvals and compliance with standardized project governance.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, R&D, procurement, operations, and leadership teams.
- Facilitate regular reviews and communication of project status to senior management.
- Effectively manage relationships with vendors and contractors to align execution with project goals.
Commercialization & R&D Integration
- Bridge the gap between lab-focused R&D and commercial-scale execution by translating technical concepts into practical, scalable processes.
- Mediate and align the priorities of technically oriented R&D individuals—often strong in innovation but less focused on commercialization—with operational objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (including marketing, sales, regulatory, and production teams) to guide products from concept to market.
Operational Integration
- Coordinate with materials management, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure the facility builds support long-term operational workflows.
- Oversee the integration of build projects into broader facility operations for seamless functionality.
Risk, Compliance & Quality
- Identify project risks and implement targeted mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvements in project execution, materials handling processes, and facility development through best practices and process optimization.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging commercialization strategies to enhance facility operations.
