Job Description
We are seeking a
Senior Data Engineer
with strong expertise in
Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran (HVR)
to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines using modern cloud-based tools and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, AWS services, Python, and DBT.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and implement robust solutions.
  • Optimize data workflows for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain data models, transformations, and integrations with Fivetran and HVR.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and ETL issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest data engineering tools, best practices, and cloud technologies.

Must-Have Skills

  • Snowflake Deep understanding of Snowflake data warehousing, Snowpark for data processing and analytics.
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) Hands-on experience in data modeling, transformation, and automation.
  • HVR / Fivetran Experience building and maintaining data replication and integration pipelines.
  • SQL Strong SQL skills for querying, performance tuning, and data validation.

Good To Have Skills

  • AWS Services:

  • Airflow Orchestrating and scheduling data workflows.

  • Lambda Building serverless data processing functions.

  • Glue Managing ETL and data integration processes.

  • Data Modeling Experience designing optimized and scalable data models.

  • Python Strong programming ability for automation, data transformation, and ETL scripting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in ETL and Data Engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • 2+ years of experience with DBT and Fivetran (HVR).
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, DBT) are a plus.
