The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization in making sound financial decisions. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, tax filings, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and file necessary tax returns.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
