Manager, People Strategy & Projects
Department: People Experience
Reports to: SVP, People
Classification: Individual Contributor
Office: Remote
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
Status: Exempt
About the Role
The Manager, People Strategy & Projects is a key strategic partner to the Senior Vice President, People and Chief People Officer, supporting the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives across the People Experience department.
This role serves as the project manager and connector for strategic people programs — including the job description modernization, career lattice and skills alignment work, job catalog refresh in BOB, and recruiting process rebranding. You'll coordinate priorities, milestones, communication, and stakeholder engagement to ensure these projects move from concept to execution efficiently and cohesively.
You'll collaborate across all areas of the People team and other teams, as applicable — while aligning systems, timelines, and outcomes to our broader People strategy.
What You'll Do
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead and coordinate strategic People Experience initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies across teams.
- Partner closely with the SVP, People and Chief People Officer to prioritize, organize, and track progress on key people projects.
- Maintain project documentation, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Anticipate and identify risks, dependencies, or blockers and recommend solutions to maintain momentum.
Ensure alignment between the People Experience roadmap and broader business goals.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with team leads (People Relations, Recruiting & Strategy, Operations) to align deliverables and ensure consistency across workstreams.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and updates for the SVP, People and senior stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-departmental teams (Finance, IT, Legal, etc.) as needed for project alignment or approvals.
- Support communications, change management, and rollout planning for major People initiatives.
Systems Awareness & Implementation Support
- Partner on the integration and alignment of key People systems — including Greenhouse (ATS), Predictive Index (assessment tool), and BOB (HRIS).
- Support project planning and stakeholder coordination for system-related initiatives, ensuring projects are scoped, documented, and aligned with business needs.
Bring a working knowledge of how these systems interact across the employee lifecycle, enabling effective collaboration with technical SMEs and vendors.
Strategic Partnering & Enablement
- Work directly with the SVP, People to translate strategic vision into actionable project plans.
- Support organizational readiness activities (communications, rollout guides, templates, etc.) for People Experience initiatives.
- Create visibility and clarity around priorities, milestones, and outcomes for leaders and team members.
- Champion the People Experience brand and narrative across projects and communications.
What You'll Bring
- 3-6 years of experience in HR project management, people operations, or strategic HR programs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale People-related projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Greenhouse (ATS), Predictive Index, and BOB (HRIS) — able to navigate, coordinate, and partner on implementations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a bias for action and follow-through.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable operating with executive exposure and working closely with senior leadership.
- Ability to balance strategy and execution, ensuring ideas are translated into tangible, measurable outcomes.
Success in This Role
- People Experience initiatives are well-organized, delivered on time, and aligned with strategy.
- The SVP, People, and leadership team have visibility into project progress and outcomes.
- Clear, repeatable frameworks are established for ongoing People Experience projects.
- The organization experiences improved clarity, consistency, and connection across People processes and systems.
