Director of Business Development

At Distinctive Living, we're seeking a Director of Business Development to lead occupancy growth and community outreach for Seascape at Naples, our premier Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven leadership role-perfect for someone who thrives on connection, strategy, and results.
What You'll DoAs the Director of Business Development, you'll:
- Lead strategic business development and marketing efforts to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute community-specific marketing plans and budgets.
- Build and nurture relationships with referral partners, families, and local organizations.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging, high-quality tours, and an exceptional move-in experience.
- Conduct competitive market analyses and identify new opportunities for outreach and partnership.
- Support sales coaching, lead tracking, and reporting processes to ensure accountability and performance excellence.
- Represent Seascape at Naples and Distinctive Living with professionalism, compassion, and enthusiasm in all community and industry interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales and marketing experience, ideally within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue goals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel locally for outreach events.
