Overview:
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for overseeing the execution, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of US Benefits programs in alignment with the Total Rewards strategy. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, a customer service mindset, strong data analysis approach, and a thorough knowledge of benefit plans and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs and wellness initiatives.
Manage mid-to-high complexity benefits escalations and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and employee satisfaction.
Supports configuration and management of the Workday Benefits module in alignment with People Systems strategy.
Works in partnership with broker and vendors to ensure compliance, Data Analytics, and timely management of requests.
Ensure accuracy in benefits-related filings, invoices, and compliance documentation as assigned.
Ensure seamless execution of annual benefits enrollment process, employee communications, accurate integration feeds and implementation of new programs.
Ensure consistency, compliance, and governance in benefits administration across US including ERISA, ACA, FLSA, COBRA, and other applicable laws.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on benefits compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and country-specific regulations.
Maintain governance and documentation for compliance audits, reporting, data integrity and corrective action planning related to benefits and compensation programs.
Assist with the development and implementation of benefit communication strategies, benefit programs, and policies.
Supports Director of Total Rewards in annual renewal processes and contract negotiations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Workday Benefits training and or certification highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience administering employee benefit plans in the US.
Strong knowledge of benefits and compensation regulations, including ACA, ERISA, FLSA etc.
Experience in regulatory compliance related to compensation and benefits.
BPO and or Global Benefits Administration experience is preferred
Excellent organizational, data analytics, and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency and training in Workday Benefits and HCM module highly preferred.
