The Opportunity:

We're hiring a hands-on Business Development Executive to own revenue growth and shape our sales function from the ground up. You'll be our primary seller, managing inbound leads, sourcing your own deals, and guiding how our BDR and marketing team generate demand. This is a remote role with travel opportunities to meet clients, visit hospitals, visit our Dallas warehouse, and close deals face-to-face. Culture fit is essential—this is a key position in a small, fast-growing company where flexibility, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued. With strong performance, this role has significant room to grow in scope, responsibility, and earnings as BedMed scales.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the full sales cycle from inbound lead to close
  • Prospect and close new business with hospitals and healthcare systems
  • Provide feedback to improve BDR outreach and marketing campaigns
  • Travel to meet customers and close deals in person
  • Support a small network of independent reps

Requirements:

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience.
  • Healthcare or capital equipment experience a plus but not required, culture fit is more important.
  • Track record of closing deals and exceeding targets
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset
  • Some travel required, approx. 10-25% to evolve over time to meet needs
