What This Role is Really Like

Clean Rite Center runs large, modern laundromats, and we're looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help the General Manager run our store on Church Ave.

This is a leadership role where you'll be the go-to person on your shifts. You will help support the team, assist customers, and make sure the store is clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on job where you'll learn how to manage a retail operation and build connections with the local community.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and support the store associates during your shifts.
  • Handle customer questions and resolve issues quickly.
  • Manage the wash, dry, and fold services from drop-off to pickup.
  • Oversee inventory, from cleaning supplies to laundry products.
  • Ensure the store is clean, safe, and all equipment is working.
  • Assist the GM with daily operations and team guidance.

What We're Looking For

  • Someone with at least 2 years of management experience in retail, food service, or a similar field.
  • A person who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in a well-run store.
  • Good communication skills for leading a team and talking to customers.
  • A sales-oriented mindset is a plus.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to arrive on time and be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a bonus, but not required.
