Job Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking, trustworthy, and organized Laundromat Attendant to join our dedicated team at J&S Family Laundry. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our services, particularly in processing our valued Drop-Off and Delivery orders, and maintaining our clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and carefully package customer Drop-Off and Delivery laundry orders with exceptional care and attention to detail, adhering to any specific instructions.
• Handle various fabric types, including delicates, according to customer preferences and garment care labels.
• Ensure all laundry orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laundromat by regularly sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment for our customers and staff.
• Perform routine inspections and cleaning of washing machines and dryers, including lint removal, to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide friendly and helpful service.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous experience working in a laundromat or similar service industry is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand different fabric types, washing instructions, and basic stain treatment techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain a high standard of service.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting and folding laundry.
• Must be a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible team player who takes pride in their work and contributes to a positive work environment.
