Overview

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to support daily management of our salon client accounts. You'll help bring each brand to life online through engaging content, consistent posting, and sharp attention to detail.

If you love writing captions, staying on top of trends, and organizing content behind the scenes, this role is for you.

Duties

  • Write and edit captions using brand voice guides and ChatGPT prompts.
  • Edit Reels with on screen text, trending audio, and captions.
  • Schedule Reels, posts, and Stories in Meta Business Suite.
  • Post Stories with engagement stickers and interactive elements.
  • Review client content folders for new, usable materials.
  • Save, label, and organize content ideas for future use.
  • Manage collaboration tags on salon pages.
  • Check and update the shared Content Planning Doc weekly.
  • Gather analytics screenshots or create simple performance reports.

Tools You'll Use

Meta Business Suite, Canva, ChatGPT, Google Drive, possible others.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Passionate about social media and up-to-date on trends.
  • Confident in writing captions that sound natural, not corporate.
  • A fast learner who's comfortable using new tools and systems.
  • Reliable, communicative, and able to manage multiple client brands at once.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience managing social media for salons, stylists, or beauty brands.
  • Video editing or Canva design skills.
  • A strong sense of aesthetic and tone.
