QLIK Subject Matter Expert

Job Description Summary:

  • As a DLA Qlik SME, you will play a crucial role in improving logistics, supply chain management, and operational efficiency across global supply chain and warehousing operations through data-driven insights, visualization, and analytics. You will deliver end-to-end Qlik development to support enterprise decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-scope Qlik development, including data management, design, and execution to generate actionable insights that support and improve operational efficiency across DLA's distribution operations.
  • Develop dynamic data visualization dashboards and reports to enhance logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD data governance and security protocols, maintaining audit readiness and alignment with DLA's data strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, logistics or related field.
  • Two years of hand-on Qlik experience, or one year of Qlik plus two years working in another data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience integrating and managing large data sets from multiple systems and formats.
  • 2 years experience with SQL, data visualization best practices, and Agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DoD or DLA data environments and an understanding of government logistics operations is desirable.
