ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Do you thrive at the intersection of events, partnerships, and big ideas?

ONE is looking for a highly organized and energetic Events & Partnerships Coordinator to help us deliver high-profile events, cultivate partners, and engage key stakeholders around the world. In this role, you'll spend most of your time (90%) supporting our events and partnerships work—everything from coordinating logistics and vendors to drafting materials and managing stakeholder outreach. The rest of your time (10%) will keep our dynamic Brand + Creative team running smoothly through scheduling, budgeting, and administrative support.

You'll report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships and work closely with the Global Brand & Creative Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and contribute to making an impact on the world's biggest challenges.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
Events

  • Support planning and execution of events, including logistics, run-of-show, guest and speaker management, onsite coordination, and follow-up communications.
  • Manage event vendors, suppliers, and venue partners, ensuring smooth delivery of all elements.
  • Draft event materials (briefing notes, talking points, invitations, recaps, presentations).
  • Assist with event budgets, contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Track event performance, metrics, and lessons learned.

Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist with partnership development by conducting vetting, research, preparing pitch decks, and tracking opportunities.
  • Support outreach to partners, creative collaborators, and key stakeholders like ONE's Diaspora Creative Council and Global Faith Council.
  • Draft materials for partnerships, including proposals, updates, and recap reports.
  • Coordinate communications and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure consistent engagement.
  • Help manage stakeholder databases and tracking tools.

WHAT YOU BRING TO ONE

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing preferred
  • 2+ years of team coordinating experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities under tight deadlines while performing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of effective project management
  • Experience in administration, project coordination, and budget management
  • Experience working in an international organization preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Asana, Canva, and Salesforce preferred
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluency in English required. Proficiency in other languages such as French and German is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role with attendance 3 days per week in the office in DC. Team schedules and business needs may dictate the specific days/times you need to be in the office. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
ONE offers competitive compensation and an exceptional benefits package along with the opportunity to contribute to worldwide causes impacting those most in need. The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $50,000.
