Director of Sales (Mid-Law Segment) – Legal Tech Startup | New York (Hybrid)

We're looking for a
Director of Sales
who can own the
Mid-Law segment
, build and lead a small team of AEs, and shape the sales strategy from the ground up.
The Opportunity
- Build and lead a growing team of Account Executives focused on mid-size law firms and in-house legal teams.
- Own the full sales cycle – from strategy to close – in a market that's shifting fast.
- Partner with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to refine the GTM playbook.
- Develop relationships with Managing Partners, Innovation leads, and IT/Knowledge teams.
- Play a key role in scaling a business redefining how legal work gets done.
You'll Bring
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (ideally in complex, consultative deals).
- Experience leading or mentoring a sales team; you know how to inspire performance.
- A track record of smashing quota and forecasting with accuracy.
- Curiosity about the
legal tech space
, even if you're not from it. - Comfort operating in a
Series A–C style environment - fast growth, fast thinking, low ego.
- Based in (or happy to relocate to)
New York City
.
