Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha or Micros POS systems.
  • Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and order accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Sales experience, particularly in upselling menu items, is beneficial.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous.
