Job Summary

The Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and overall guest experience at our establishment. This position involves overseeing daily front office activities, managing staff, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage front office staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts.
  • Conduct night audits as required to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Foster strong relationships with guests through excellent customer service and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest services and overall hotel operations.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures while promoting a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations including phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems.
  • Experience in night audit processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of resort operations and guest services is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
