Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Medicare Agent to join our team. This role involves educating clients about Medicare options, assisting them in selecting suitable plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales expertise, and a thorough understanding of insurance products, particularly Medicare. Multilingual abilities and experience in outside sales or retail sales are highly valued to effectively serve diverse communities. As a Medicare Agent, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their healthcare coverage while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties

  • Educate clients on various Medicare options, benefits, and coverage details through personalized consultations
  • Negotiate plan terms and assist clients in selecting the most suitable insurance solutions
  • Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation and follow-up communications
  • Utilize analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate plans
  • Engage in marketing efforts to expand client base and increase brand awareness
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations during all client interactions
  • Support benefits administration processes for new and existing clients
  • Conduct telemarketing campaigns to reach prospective clients effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in insurance sales preferred
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills essential for client interactions
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations
  • Familiarity with sales administration, marketing strategies, and benefits management
  • Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable plans
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to healthcare information privacy and security
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a dynamic environment
