Landscape Maintenance Field Manager

Seeking a reliable, experienced Landscape Field Supervisor to lead our maintenance crew 100% in the field. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, operating equipment, and physically assisting the crew daily. Pay scale based on individual candidate experience. This is NOT an office or sales position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise landscape maintenance crews on residential and commercial properties.
  • Work alongside the crew when needed, performing landscape and lawn care tasks (mowing, trimming, planting, edging, mulching, pruning, etc.).
  • Operate and train crew members on equipment such as mowers, blowers, edgers, trimmers, and small machinery.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company safety protocols.
  • Communicate schedules, work orders, and updates to management.
  • Assist with basic irrigation troubleshooting (preferred, but can train).
  • Identify potential plant health or property maintenance issues and report them to management.
  • Ensure job sites are cleaned and completed properly before leaving.
  • Ensure all contracted properties are maintained to company standards.
  • Execution of installations, renovations and seasonal plantings.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (required)
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (required for crew communication)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance.
  • Experience leading or supervising a crew is preferred.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation
