Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. As our Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This is a critical role in our organization, as you will be responsible for maintaining payroll records, calculating wages and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We are seeking a candidate with high energy, a positive attitude that enjoys working as a team player. We currently process payroll through Paylocity. You will work directly under the Payroll Manager and Office Manager.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least one year of payroll experience. We are willing to fully train a candidate that has at least 1 year of experience and Excel knowledge is a must. Great opportunity to learn and grow within this department. If you are fast paced, detail oriented, coachable, trainable with a positive attitude, we will train and grow you in our payroll department.
Job Responsibilities
- Process E-Verify Checks
- Process Background and Driver's License Checks
- Onboarding and Terminations of employees
- Administer Payroll through Paylocity
- Time Keeping and Entry
- Maintain employee files and other HR documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
- Track Vacation and Personal Leave Records
- Uniform Processing and Ordering
- Various other administrative tasks related to Payroll and HR
- Work as a Team with Upper Management and All Employees
- Filing of Employee Paperwork
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with Various duties.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54, $58,000.00 per year
