Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our landscape maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, lawn care, and landscape maintenance, with the ability to perform installations, repairs, and routine maintenance. Duties

  • Main duty is to repair and maintain irrigation systems across various properties, ensuring optimal water distribution.
  • Conduct routine inspections of sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as trenchers if needed to install/repair zones.
  • Assist with general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks including trimming, planting, and soil preparation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems within irrigation systems using technical knowledge of plumbing and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
  • Maintain safety standards during all operations by following proper procedures and using appropriate protective gear.

Experience

  • Prior experience with irrigation system installation or repair is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and general horticulture principles is beneficial.
  • Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators is desirable.
  • Background in landscaping or construction work can be helpful in understanding site preparation and project execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to interpret technical diagrams or schematics are important. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude towards safety and quality work standards while demonstrating a passion for outdoor landscape projects. Pay: $ $28.42 per hour
