Job Description:

Capitalize Funding is looking for a highly motivated Jr Funding Consultant to join our team as a lead "opener." In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for business owners seeking funding—qualifying leads, conducting thorough discovery calls, collecting documents, and setting up warm handoffs to our Funding Strategist for closing.

What You'll Do:

  • Call and engage business owners who have inquired about funding
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls using our proven scripts and qualification process
  • Gather required documents and ensure files are complete for handoff
  • Set up and schedule follow-up calls with our Funding Strategist
  • Build rapport and deliver a positive, professional client experience
  • Accurately track interactions and progress in our CRM

No prior industry experience required. We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed

Our Training Program Includes:

  • Day 1: Intensive onboarding covering our company, sales process, CRM, scripts, and objection handling
  • Weeks 1–6: Weekly advanced sales training (psychology of the sale, advanced objection handling, talk tracks, and more)
  • Ongoing support and feedback from experienced managers

Who You Are:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys talking to people
  • Prior experience in any client-facing, sales, or service role (mortgage, real estate, solar, retail, hospitality, etc.) is a plus, but not required
  • Coachable, eager to learn, and comfortable following a proven process
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for follow-up
