Responsibilities

  • Contact clients via phone using professional phone etiquette to discuss overdue accounts and facilitate payment arrangements.
  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts effectively.
  • Reconcile accounts by reviewing account analysis reports, ensuring all debits and credits are correctly posted within accounting software.
  • Negotiate payment plans or settlements with clients while maintaining positive relationships and adhering to company policies.
  • Perform account reconciliation tasks to verify the accuracy of payments received against outstanding balances.
  • Utilize financial software and accounting tools to document collection activities, update account statuses, and generate reports.
  • Conduct account analysis for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance with financial concepts and standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of collection efforts, correspondence, and outcomes for audit purposes.
  • Support the training of new team members on mitigation collection procedures, account reconciliation techniques, and effective strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restoration collections or related accounts receivable roles with a focus on restoration billing preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, and revenue cycle management.
  • Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong customer service skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Ability to analyze complex account data quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of telemarketing techniques combined with negotiation skills to secure payments effectively.
  • Basic math skills necessary for accurate account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team committed to achieving collection goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
