Senior Associate Accelerating Talent
What you will doLet's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee development experience across GCO. As the team's creative and operational anchor, this role drives the development, delivery, and measurement of high-impact talent initiatives that enhance career growth, digital fluency, and engagement across the enterprise.
This individual combines program management excellence with creative storytelling, technology integration, and relationship building to bring Accelerating Talent's strategy to life. Whether managing flagship programs, producing engaging digital content, or optimizing learning platforms, this role ensures every interaction reinforces Amgen's commitment to developing a future-ready workforce.
Program & Experience Management- Lead execution of flagship programs including the Commercial Discovery Program (CDP) and related enterprise talent initiatives.
- Manage recruiting, placement, and participant engagement, ensuring a high-quality, impactful experience.
- Partner with program lead onCommercial Leadership Program (CLP)support, logistics, and communications to sustain alignment and excellence.
- Collect and interpret program metrics through surveys, focus groups, dashboards, and storytelling that turns data into insight.
- Continuously improve program design, experience, and delivery through external benchmarking and creative experimentation.
- Design and produce multimedia content (including videos, graphics, presentations, and marketing materials) to promote programs and showcase success stories.
- Create compelling digital narratives that celebrate growth, innovation, and impact across Accelerating Talent initiatives.
- Draft and manage communications for campaigns, announcements, and enterprise storytelling aligned with the team's annual communication plan.
- Contribute to and evolve the Accelerating Talent brand voice across platforms.
- Manage and enhance the GCO Talent Portal and related SharePoint sites to ensure engaging and intuitive user experiences.
- Serve as a key member of the AI Integration Workstream, helping embed digital tools and intelligent technologies into talent programs and communications.
- Explore and deploy creative technologies (e.g., AI-assisted content creation, chatbots, analytics) to elevate learner engagement and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between Talent, IT, and Communications teams to ensure seamless technology adoption.
- Plan and execute in-person and virtual events including workshops, town halls, and recognition experiences that foster connection and learning.
- Partner across business units to create engaging, well-produced, and visually dynamic experiences that reflect the Amgen culture.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Accelerating Talent team, strengthening relationships across the organization.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement processes for key initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional partners and ensure project timelines, deliverables, and resources are met.
- Provide strategic and executional support to the Accelerating Talent Director and Sr. Manager, often serving as the team's connector and problem-solver.
- Represent the team in enterprise working groups focused on learning innovation, AI integration, and employee experience.
- Proven experience with program and project management, ideally in learning, talent, or communications.
- Proficiency in creative tools (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Suite, video editing) and digital collaboration platforms (MS Teams, Miro, SharePoint).
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling content.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across levels and functions.
- Adept at leveraging data and feedback to guide design and improvement.
- Curious, resourceful, and tech-savvy — a proactive learner who experiments and adapts quickly.
- Values efficiency, innovation, and impact over activity.

Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree
OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in learning, talent development, recruiting, communications, or program management
OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of experience in learning, talent development, recruiting, communications, or program management
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience in learning, talent development, recruiting, communications, or program management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skill in video and digital content creation
- Experience managing programs or events with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital learning platforms
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Experience in or with commercial functions (sales, marketing, training)
- Proven ability to build relationships across complex organizations

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
