DMV-based Private Credit firm
is seeking a
Private Credit Senior Associate
to join their team. The firm invests in middle-market companies and has over a billion in committed capital. The firm is industry agnostic, so this opportunity provides great exposure to many industries including business services, consumer, industrial and manufacturing. As a Private Credit Senior Associate, you would have the opportunity to join a lean deal team and get extensive hands-on transaction exposure.

The Private Credit Senior Associate will be responsible for:

  • Execution of broader market and industry research
  • Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets
  • Take point on due diligence processes
  • Monitor existing investment portfolio
  • Assisting the team with operating/portfolio company work

The Private Credit Senior Associate should have the following qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A
    with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank; related transaction advisory consulting experience will also be considered AND
    1-2 years of private equity or private credit experience
    with a middle market or lower middle market firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
  • Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing and/or consumer
