Overview

American Management Association (AMA) is looking for Regional Account Managers (RAM) in our Corporate Learning Solutions division in New York City.  RAMs generate and achieve revenue goals, by partnering with corporate client organizations to enhance workforce performance through tailored training solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve Corporate Learning Solutions ("CLS") revenue to meet/exceed sales quota.
  • Manage the complete CLS sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to solution discovery, proposal development, and deal closure.
  • Implement strategies for account acquisition, penetration and development.
  • Actively develop and grow CLS accounts within assigned territory.
  • Qualify leads, initiate a sales cycle and track appropriate activity.
  • Ensure all training delivery logistics are managed effectively and content is tailored to client specifications.
  • Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to assess customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business
  • Maintain accurate documentation and statistics, including lead tracking, business in process forecast, report of sale, trainer request form, lead qualification worksheets and AMA contact management systems.
  • Communicate across AMA's professional service and delivery teams to implement best practices across operational processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive professional and technical knowledge using all available resources.
  • Work effectively and collaborate with all other sales units to grow accounts for larger revenue potential.
  • Other related duties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years sales or related experience required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive quotas in a B-to-B sales environment preferred.
  • Ability to prospect, follow up on leads, uncover opportunities and close sales.
  • Industry experience (Learning & Development, Talent Management) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Proficient in and MS Office. 
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Travel in accordance with business need.
