Are you ready to lead and innovate in payroll management?

Our client, a nationwide leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking a skilled professional to oversee payroll operations for their East Coast subsidiaries. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements. You'll report to the Director of Payroll and collaborate closely with teams across the country.

  • Payroll Processing:
    Manage the entire payroll process for the region, ensuring precision and timeliness.
  • Policy Adherence:
    Guide employees and the payroll team on policies and keep them updated as needed.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws.
  • Team Leadership:
    Mentor and support the regional payroll team.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present payroll reports to stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Address payroll discrepancies and collaborate with HR.
  • System Management:
    Maintain and optimize payroll systems and software.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Collaboration:
    Work with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of payroll management experience in a regional or multi-location setting.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and software, with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Labor Laws.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.

Compensation:
$115,000 - $130,000, based on experience.
