Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced
Regional Sales Manager
to lead sales efforts across the Northeast USA. This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional with a strong background in pneumatic or chemical metering systems. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- Size and specify blowers , and compressors for customer applications.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations and proposals.
- Maintain and grow the customer base by building strong relationships with key accounts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals effectively.
- Provide strategic planning and sales forecasting.
- Offer application assistance and technical support to customers.
- Manage projects from inception to completion.
- Proactively solve problems and anticipate customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and demonstrate leadership in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the pneumatic or chemical metering industry.
- Strong motivation for sales and business development.
- Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of equipment and applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
