The FACTS SIS Sales Specialist specializes in all areas of the FACTS Student Information System (SIS) and supports the mission of K-12 private and faith-based schools by helping them utilize specific features within this platform. This position creates resources, leads webinars, develops workshops and works directly with schools to help them develop and implement successful strategies around utilizing the SIS. In addition, the SIS Sales Specialist works directly with existing FACTS customers by teaching them how to best manage their current processes and helping them to improve by evaluating their usage, configuration and overall implementation of the SIS platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop content (related to SIS best practices) for webinars, workshops, blog posts, analytics spreadsheets, reports and checklists.

2. Work with FACTS customers to evaluate school usage, configuration, and overall implementation of all aspects of the SIS product.

3. Work directly with the FACTS SIS Product Manager to align best practices with the product roadmap.

4. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Implementation, Product Management, Sales and Account Management).

5. Host online and onsite best practice workshops for existing SIS customers and prospects.

6. Educate and train internal teams on FACTS SIS best practices.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in education, business and/or technology.

EXPERIENCE

1. 3 years experience working in the a K-12 private school (or equivalent experience in related area work).

2. 3 years experience working with all areas of the FACTS SIS platform.

1. Expert in strategies around the FACTS SIS platform.

2. Ability to develop individualized, creative solutions to complex problems on a per-customer basis.

4. Solid working knowledge of all areas of the FACTS SIS platform.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to constructively discuss sensitive issues.

6. Very detail oriented and a creative thinker.

7. Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

8. Ability to work as a team player and establish good rapport with co-workers.

9. Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, helpful and patient).

10. Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.

11. Strong computer and technical skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications, Web Forms, Artificial Intelligence platforms, and the Internet.

12. Ability to effectively instruct clients in the use of computer software and other services.

13. Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.

14. Strong initiative to get tasks and objectives completed without supervision.

15. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively lead change.

  1. Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the year.
