Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the management and operations of the office of the Associate Superintendent for Technology Services.
Qualifications/Skills:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) and Zoom preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work professionally with vendors, parents, teachers and community using email, phone, etc.
- Advanced clerical, secretarial and bookkeeping knowledge.
- Document file maintenance and inventory skills.
- Proven budget management skills (MUNIS financial and Kronos timekeeping software experience plus).
- Proven excellence in organizational, communication, problem solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and phone communications skills.
- Conscientious work habits and a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Demonstrated success and willingness to take direction from and balance workload among multiple technology Directors.
- Ability to prioritize assignments.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Clerical Support:
- Manage the office for the Associate Superintendent, Technology.
- Maintain records, process vender background checks and issue payments for all District technology contracts and purchases.
- Maintain time and attendance records for Technology Services employees using Kronos, MUNIS and other software.
- Maintain all accounting records/contracts for all funds (General, Bond, eRate, etc.). Keep current expenses budget; prepare budget revisions and submit budget documents as required.
- Prepare and maintain payroll records for Technology Service employees to include all reimbursements, incentive and supplemental pay.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings including preparation of agendas, room reservations and all meeting materials as needed.
- Assemble, organize and submit senior staff and Board of Trustees Agenda items according to district procedures as needed.
Communication and Phones:
- Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences for the Associate Superintendent, Technology Services.
- Perform administrative duties concerning the telephone system, mail, document filing and facility requests (i.e., School Dude).
- Interact professionally, courteously and appropriately with all levels of District staff.
Other:
- Process HR forms as necessary (worker comp, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
