Position Summary:
The Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) Consultant partners with clients to design, configure, and implement Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) solutions that streamline contract lifecycle management. This role combines requirements discovery, solution design, configuration, integrations, training, and migration support to deliver secure, scalable CLM solutions that meet legal, commercial, and operational objectives. Consultant must have an active government clearance or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance before starting as well as 25% travel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Leads discovery and requirements workshops with legal, procurement, and business stakeholders; translates needs into functional requirements and success criteria.
  • Designs ICI data models, workflows, templates, clause libraries, and security roles; performs system configuration and validates against requirements.
  • Drives end-to-end implementation activities including build, testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover planning, and go-live support.
  • Recommends CLM best practices to improve authoring, review, approval, obligation management, and reporting workflows.
  • Defines and supports integrations with eSignature, providers, ERPs, contract repositories, and other third-party systems; assists with data mapping and migration activities.
  • Delivers administrator and end-user training, create user guides, runbooks, and training materials.
  • Produces clear design documents, configuration rationales, test plans, and post-implementation runbooks; ensures solutions meet compliance and audit requirements.
  • Communicates status, risks, and recommendations to clients and internal teams; drives issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Travels to client site during critical project activities – approximately 25% travel.
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Required/Desired Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Icertis CLM (ICI) in production environments.
  • At least one full end-to-end ICI implementation (discovery through go-live) with demonstrable deliverables.
  • Experience integrating ICI with eSignature tools and external systems (ERP, CRM, document stores).
  • Experience supporting CLM data migrations, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
  • Proven ability to run discovery sessions, capture requirements, and convert them into functional designs and testable configurations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, stakeholder presentations, and test artifacts.
  • Experience with other CLM platforms (ContractWorks, Agiloft, Apttus, Conga) or commercial contracting tools is a plus.
  • Public sector, defense contracting, or regulated-industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations, SSO/SAML, and common middleware patters is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in remote, matrixed delivery teams and mentoring junior consultants is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance.
  • Must have an active government clearance or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance before starting.

  • Comfortable presenting to executive and legal audiences and translating technical concepts into business terms.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple workstreams, and adapt in fast-moving projects.
