Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks using Eaglesoft or similar software.
  • Ability to do billing, preauthorization and state and private insurance verification
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally, providing solutions or escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment for patients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is required
  • experience is preferred but not required dental insurances including state insurances
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including data entry and record management.
  • experience in computers is a must
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work hard and help out the team
