One of our clients in the Charlotte area is looking for a Business Analyst to add to their team. The Business Analyst will provide daily technical and functional support for meter reading and field service applications. The Business Analyst will develop and document problem resolutions with internal and external technical resources. The Business Analyst will identify user information requirements and develop ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis.

The Business Analyst will be experienced in writing and executing structured test plans. The Business Analyst will also possess strong customer service skills and can guide less technical users. The Business Analyst will be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation and collaboration.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $35-$40 / hr w2

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document problem resolutions with internal and external technical resources.
  • Interface with end users to understand existing business processes and information requirements.
  • Create ad-hoc SQL queries for data analysis and translate results into custom report specifications.

Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of business analysis tactics and practices.
  • Understanding of robust software testing approaches and system life cycles (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with information technology best practices, standards, and terminology.
  • Skilled in analyzing and troubleshooting integrated software applications.
  • Proficient in using SQL query tools and MS Excel for application issue resolution.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
