REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills and delivery.
  • Proficiency in basic computer, data entry and typing skills is required.
  • Positive attitude & the ability to adjust to change smoothly.
  • The ability to multitask & maintain organization and accuracy is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively on a team in an office environment while working with our membership.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Greet all members with a smile as they enter the credit union.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, confidential & accurate service in the processing of transactions.
  • Process all monetary transactions for members (i.e., deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, miscellaneous receipts).
  • Ability to balance a cash drawer with accuracy utilizing proper cash handling guidelines.
  • Order daily supply of cash, coin & checks as needed.
  • Using critical thinking, analyzes endorsements, negotiable instruments and member identification to ensure accuracy and safety of the transaction.
  • Maintains working knowledge of check hold policies and procedures while practicing them consistently.
  • Learn and develop the ability to answers member questions regarding their accounts, transactions, card usage, mobile and online banking usage.
  • Identify needs and utilize cross sell opportunities to deliver products and services as applicable to assist the membership.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
