About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Patient Account Specialist Sr to join our onsite team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will provide professional and efficient medical collection services, ensuring timely resolution of patient accounts. You will work closely with patients, clients, reimbursement vendors, and other external partners to ensure account accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform medical collection activities including follow-up and account resolution.
  • Communicate with patients, clients, and insurance vendors in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Research and resolve account issues promptly and accurately.
  • Document and update patient account information in the collection system.
  • Handle inbound calls and assist patients with account inquiries.
  • Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
  • Promote positive patient relations through courteous and professional communication.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical collections or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
  • High school diploma or GED not required for this role.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 per hour
