Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, business development, and account management, with a proven track record of success in B2B sales environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop strategic relationships with clients while driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance on best practices in direct and inside sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our technology solutions.
  • Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage accounts, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies for product promotion and market penetration.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth within the territory.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales management, preferably in technology or B2B sectors.
  • Strong background in business development and account management with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) for managing customer relationships and tracking sales performance.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating market data and making informed decisions.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Projected Total Compensation: $90, $130,000.00 per year
