Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our hotel properties. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can manage a team effectively and is adept at ensuring all accounting practices are aligned with financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to maintain integrity and accuracy in financial records.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to prepare budgets and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, variances, and risks to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, managing any required financial adjustments.
  • Train, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance overall performance and career development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
