Pickleball Growth Specialist

Location: RCW Athletic Club

RCW Athletic Club is a premier sports facility in Central Pennsylvania, featuring 2 outdoor Padel courts, 8 outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts, and 6 indoor hard tennis courts. Since new ownership took over in 2020, the club has experienced rapid membership growth and high demand for its programs. In 2022, we expanded our offerings to include pickleball, initially during off-hours from tennis. What began with just 3 days per week has now grown to 6 days per week, with a vibrant pickleball community of over 300 members and counting. We are also planning to add 10 permanent, designated pickleball courts to support this growing demand.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about pickleball and skilled at driving sales? RCW Athletic Club is looking for a dynamic Pickleball Growth Specialist to help us expand our pickleball community while excelling in membership sales.

As a Pickleball Growth Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our pickleball programs, attracting new players and converting visitors into loyal members. We're seeking someone who not only loves the game but also thrives in a sales environment—someone who can build strong relationships, close deals, and drive membership growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand Pickleball Participation: Grow our pickleball community by introducing new players to the game and increasing engagement in our programs.
  • Sales & Membership Conversion: Utilize your excellent sales skills to convert newcomers into members, hitting sales targets consistently.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service, ensuring visitors and members feel welcome and excited about RCW's pickleball offerings.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and manage pickleball tournaments, clinics, and social events to attract and retain participants.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the RCW team to develop and implement strategies for pickleball growth and membership sales.

Qualifications:

  • Deep passion for pickleball, whether you're an active player or an avid supporter of the sport.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage programs and events.
  • Ability to build relationships and inspire excitement about our pickleball programs and membership.

Compensation: TBD, based on experience and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
