Who we are:

The Horst Group consists of 5 separate entities, Horst Insurance, Horst Property Management, Horst Cottages, Horst Excavating and Horst Construction. This position will work solely for Horst Excavating.

Horst has been in business for 130 years. We have a reputation for quality work and dependability. Based out of Lancaster, PA most of our projects are within a 75-mile radius of the main office, however we do provide commercial construction services throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. The markets we serve include senior living, education, industrial, manufacturing, religious, performing arts, and various other commercial endeavors.

Job Expectations:

Responsible to coordinate and implement sales and marketing activities that support the acquisition of new construction projects and build upon our existing relationships. As our sales and marketing specialist, you will be expected to:

• Maintain our marketing database and content library, sharing regular reports and updating as necessary.
• Collaboratively and independently create social media content, blogs, and other marketing content.
• Design engaging visuals for a variety of uses from ads to proposals to graphs highlighting project data.
• Contribute in meaningful ways to the strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns that support our goals.
• Support the Horst Construction team with response to incoming inquiries, fielding calls, and tracking opportunities.
• Keep a pulse on new and evolving marketing trends, practices, and technologies.
• Have a growth mindset that helps to continually improve our marketing and sales support.
• Ideal candidate will hold drone pilot's license.
• Experience with WordPress, Google Ads, and video editing preferred.

Position Requirements:

• Two years of college or equivalent experience in B2B Sales & Marketing.
• Two years of specialized experience in sales support, development of marketing support materials and content, and client-facing activities.
• Experience with marketing technology such as social media management platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, and database management.
• Comfortable learning and growing with technology. Requires a moderate to high skill level with several web-based programs that evolve frequently.
• Ability to coordinate, organize, schedule, and prioritize tasks for self with consideration of deliverables needed and deadlines required.
• Drone pilot's license a plus
