Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations at The Breakfast Bar. The ideal candidate is both creative and organized — someone who can manage a team, maintain consistent quality, and bring innovative flair to a fast-paced breakfast and brunch concept.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, plating, and cleanliness

Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance

Maintain consistency and presentation of all menu items

Control food costs, inventory, and ordering of supplies

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Collaborate with ownership on menu development, seasonal specials, and signature dishes

Uphold high energy and professionalism during service periods

Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service flow

Lead by example in maintaining a positive and respectful kitchen culture

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager in a full-service restaurant

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent knowledge of breakfast and brunch cuisine

Ability to manage food cost and control waste

ServSafe Certification preferred

Creative mindset with attention to detail and efficiency

Compensation:

$1,200 – $1,500 per week, based on experience

Weekly pay available
